Amit Shah to address virtual rally on June 8

BHUBANESWAR: Union home minister and former BJP president Amit Shah will address BJP workers in a virtual rally scheduled on June 8. The public can connect with his speech through a video link while he addresses the people.
BJP state president Samir Mohanty on Wednesday said the BJP government at the Centre has completed the first year of its second term. “The Modi government has taken several historical decisions during the first year. People will thank the government in the future for taking these steps. Even the BJP government has taken many important decisions for Odisha. Shah will speak about this during his virtual rally on June 8,” he added.
Mohanty said the Modi government has set a target for development of eastern India. Odisha is in the centre of the development roadmap prepared by the Modi government, he added.
“The Centre has given priority to Odisha in different sectors. The government has announced a package of Rs 20 lakh crore to improve the economy in view of Covid-19 pandemic situation. Odisha can benefit from this package. Farmers of our state can get help from the package announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Mohanty.
