#LockdownFitness: Odissi dancer Saswat Joshi loses seven kg

Renowned Odissi dancer Saswat Joshi has lost seven kilograms during the lockdown by following routine yoga. Since going out or taking dance classes is out of question now, he used most of his time practicing yoga asanas to transform his body.

“I used to be busy travelling, performing and teaching my disciples. So, I hardly got time for work out. That’s why I had put on weight. Once the lockdown started, I decided to shed the extra kilos. Since I can’t hit gym now, I prefer doing yoga at home. I have been spending more than two hours in the morning and in the evening practicing yoga,” said Saswat.
He has also been helping his wife to run errands. Besides, he is planning to make a short video involving his friends, disciples, gurus and followers across the world. It will be a way to connect with each other at the time of crisis and show support to one another.
