Odia celebs wished good health for all on Janmashtami

Odia celebrities observed Janmashtami by worshipping Lord Krishna at home and wishing their fans on social media. They also shared their throwback pictures of celebrating this festival in the past.

Actress Varsha Priyadarshini held a puja at home and shared the picture with fans on social media, wishing for the well-being of each and every one during the pandemic. Similarly, actress Sivani Sangita shared a throwback picture of her playing the role of Krishna during an Odissi dance recital in 2009. “I wish all a happy Janmashtami,” she wrote.
Actor Swaraj Barik wished all Odias a happy Janmashtami. “I wish Lord Krishna erases all our pains and makes everybody happy and prosperous,” he wished. Actor Shreyan Nayak said this day is so unique, as it reminds us about the devotion of Radha, the music from Krishna’s flute, the taste of makkhan and the playfulness of Gopis. “On such an auspicious occasion, I would wish all to be happy. May all the pain and sufferings go away,” he said.

Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik also wished all a happy Janmashtami with a sand art he has created at the international airport in Bhubaneswar. “May Lord Krishna bestow upon all of us good health and prosperity,” wished Pattnaik.
