Odisha: Sudarsan Pattnaik to auction a few sand-art-on-canvas paintings for Covid-19 trigger
BHUBANESWAR: Noted international yellow sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik will auction personal trainer of his sand-art-on-canvas paintings to bring funds for the cause towards Covid-19 fight . The funds is going to be donated if you want to PM-Cares Fund and chief minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF), Odisha.
“I am auctioning seven days of my sand-art-on-canvas paintings of raise funds to fight from Covid-19. The funds would be given to PM Cares and then CMRF Odisha . People interested in these style can DM (direct message) that person in Twitter, ” said Pattnaik.
Bigger publicised the photos of these elegant paintings in his Twitter take better care of. Former, a 4 feet to 3 feet painting, was given the name as ‘Beauty on the stone’. The second and third someone, both 3 feet by a number of feet paintings, were known compared to ‘Our thought for the environment’ and ‘Sea king’ respectively. Any of these paintings were based on fine sand arts created by Pattnaik to Germany.
The fourth and fifth paintings ‘Sleeping beauty’ and ‘Universal peace’ were based mostly on the sand arts of Pattnaik in Istanbul of Turkey and China respectively.
“I have around 46 such paintings of my crushed lime stone arts. I have even implemented mud in these paintings. Our had planned to host exhibitions among my works in metro towns, cities in February and March, merely I aborted strategies due with regard to the Covid-19 situation. I made even booked venue for my first exhibition in Chennai. Reason the difficult situation in heart, I want to auction a few of my best works but also donate the higher price tag for the purpose of fighting against the coronavirus, ” said Pattnaik.
He had received Rs 5 lakh for a sand-art-on-canvas painting five yrs ago. “I contain received several requests from persons to purchase my paintings. I’m able to go for best prices relating to the paintings. Simply because the auction is ordinarily for a good cause, lots of people will come forward for doing this, ” said the sand tattooist.
