Tamanna Vyas shoots for her first Telugu film

Odia actress Tamanna Vyas has ventured into the south industry with a Telugu film. The actress is currently in Hyderabad shooting for her first Telugu film, Veyyi Shubhamulu Kalugu Neeku. She is playing the female protagonist of the romantic-horror-comedy film opposite actor Vijay Raja, who is son of renowned Telugu comedian Shivaji Raja. The film is being directed by Raams Rathod.

The actress told us that after finishing an Odia film during the initial phases of unlock, she left for Hyderabad. “The shoot for my Telugu film has already started. It has been going on with proper safety measures following the Covid-19 guidelines,” she said.
In her short career, she has been cast alongside some of the top actors in Ollywood. Her last Odia film was Lucky Ra Lockdown Love Story with Sabyasachi Mishra. The actress is also a student of journalism and mass communication and had taken part in the Miss India Contest last year. “I’m hopeful that this Telugu film will help me get more projects across industries. I’m trying to give my best and hope this film will be a remarkable one for me,” said the Berhampur-based actress who used the lockdown to brush up her Telugu accent.
