Training for Haj pilgrims held at Cuttack
Bhubaneswar: The state Haj committee on Tuesday organised a training programme at Cuttack for prospective Haj pilgrims, scheduled to begin their holy trip to Saudi Arabia in June.
The prospective pilgrims from three districts — Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapara — attended this programme. Mufti Maulana Rehman and Maulana Minaz Qadri imparted training to the participants on several important rituals of the proposed holy trip during the pilgrimage. Executive officer of the state Haj committee Sayed Mohammed Aqdas said they organised such first round training at three places, including at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. tnn
