Bhubaneswar: Three detained in murder case

BHUBANESWAR: Khurda police on Wednesday detained three men for their alleged involvement in the murder of a liquor store employee on Tuesday. Police also seized a car. Police did not reveal the identities of the detainees as three of their accomplices are on the run.
“We will share details only after arresting all the six persons,” a police officer said. The accused had allegedly attacked a man with a knife in Nayapalli on Tuesday and driven away towards Khurda. They picked up a quarrel with the liquor store’s security guard. Amiya Barik, a staff of the liquor counter, was attacked when he tried to intervene.
