Cinematographer Piyush Puty recovers from Covid-19

Bollywood cinematographer Piyush Puty recently recovered from Covid-19 after undergoing a 14-day quarantine and having medication. Piyush, who has worked in several Bollywood films as a director of photography, also appealed to people to follow government guidelines and take more precautions as the number of cases is skyrocketing every day in the country. “I developed symptoms two-three days after I tested negative. Once the symptoms appeared, I tested again and found myself Covid-19 positive. I informed my friends and family members so that they could take precautions,” said cinematographer, who has worked films like Kamyaab, Amdavad Ma Famous, and few others.

He followed the guidelines strictly and stayed indoors while taking medication. During that time, he got calls from friends and acquaintances enquiring about the disease. “I got to know that many people are not disclosing their symptoms. This way, they are spreading the virus. If I had roamed about after testing positive, I would have spread the virus. People should be aware of this thing. Besides, people around Covid-19 patients must support and help them instead of alienating them,” Piyush said, adding that he hoped that self-care and precaution can prevent further spread of this virus and the responsibility lies on every Indian.
