Mom held for killing daughter

A woman was arrested by Hemgiri police on Sunday for allegedly killing her daughter. After killing her daughter, the woman had attempted to end her life by consuming fertiliser.

ROURKELA: A woman was arrested by Hemgiri police on Sunday for allegedly killing her daughter. After killing her daughter, the woman had attempted to end her life by consuming fertiliser.
Sources said Tejaswini Bhorasagar (45), a resident of R R Colony in Kalamegha, lived with her only daughter Dipanjali (17).
Sources said Tejaswini noticed Dipanjali talking with someone over the mobile on Friday, after which she warned her. A quarrel took place between mother and daughter and in a fit of rage, Tejaswini allegedly crushed Dipanjali’s face with a pestle. TNN
