Odisha: BJP raps govt for not ensuring OBC quota
BHUBANESWAR: BJP on Friday lashed out at the state government for not ensuring reservation for OBC in employment sector and educational institutions in Odisha.
Party’s state secretary, Pinky Pradhan, criticised BJD spokesperson, Sasmit Patra, for his tweet regarding BJD’s resolution. “There is a gap between party’s resolution and state government’s decision,” she added. Patra had tweeted that BJD state council passed a resolution for implementation of OBC quota. “State government is at an advanced stage of implementation in this regard,” Patra tweeted, referring to Union minister, Dharmendra Pradhan’s letter to CM Naveen Patnaik.
